Catherine Dent

Catherine Dent (b. March 14, 1976 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA) is an American actress who has starred in film and in television. Her first feature film was in the 1994 movie Nobody's Fool. Her television roles range from One Life to Live in 1997 as Janice Talbert, as well as a role in the 2002 mini series Taken.

However, Catherine's big breakthrough role came in 2002 as L.A.P.D. Officer Danielle "Danny" Sofer on the FX hit drama The Shield.

She has made guest appearances on some TV shows, such as on The Pretender, ', The Sopranos, and Judging Amy.
