Casino Windsor


 

Casino Windsor is a large casino located in Windsor, Ontario and operated by the Government of the Province of Ontario. It is located near the waterfront, and near the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel which link Windsor to Detroit, Michigan. The creation of this casino was a leading factor in the legalization of casino gambling in Detroit. The casino still derives much of its audience from the United States, in part because the Ontario drinking age is 19 (versus 21 in Michigan). However, the casino's management denies exploitative marketing to young people, and positions itself to an upscale clientele. The Casino is going to expand which will be completed sometime in 2007, adding a convention center and bigger hotel. They will/maybe revonvating the gaming floor.
