Carter Bassett Harrison
Carter Bassett Harrison (ca.1756–April 18, 1808) was a politician from the U.S. state of Virginia. He was the son of Benjamin Harrison V, a member of the Continental Congress and signer of the American Declaration of Independence, and the brother of William Henry Harrison, the ninth President of the United States.

Harrison was born at the Berkeley Plantation in Charles City County, Virginia and attended the College of William and Mary. He was a member of the Virginia state house of delegates, 1784–1786 and 1805–1808. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives for the Third Congress and to the two succeeding Congresses, serving from March 4, 1793 to March 3, 1799. Harrison died in Prince George County, Virginia.
