Caroline Dhavernas

Caroline Dhavernas (roughly pronounced "Daverna" for English speaking audience but originally pronounced "Davernaus" (aus like house)) (born May 15, 1978 in Montreal, Quebec) is a actress from Quebec, Canada, best known as "Jaye" from the cancelled but immensely popular television series Wonderfalls on Fox. She played a worker in the Wonderfalls Gift Emporium, a Niagara Falls gift shop, who begins to doubt her sanity when inanimate objects start talking to her and giving her instructions that involve her in other people's lives. Dhavernas described the show as being like "Touched by an Angel on acid."

She is the daughter of the Quebecois actor Sébastien Dhavernas. She began her career at the age of 8, dubbing voices for television productions such as Babar. At the age of 12 she began her acting career in the film Comme un Voleur (1990).
