Capernaum

Capernaum o Cafarna?m (hebreo ?????? ?????? , ?pueblo de Nahum?), es un antiguo poblado ubicado en Galilea, hoy Israel, a orillas del mar de Galilea, tambi?n llamado lago Tiberiades o Kineret. Es conocida por los cristianos como "la ciudad de Jes?s"; nombrada en el Nuevo Testamento, fue uno de los lugares elegidos por Jes?s de Nazareth para trasmitir su mensaje y realizar algunos de sus milagros. Se encuentra a 2,5 km de Tabgha y a 15 km de la ciudad de Tiber?as, en el margen noroeste del lago.
