Capelle aan den IJssel

(population: 65,354 in 2004) is a town in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality covers an area of 15.42 km² (of which 1.13 km² water).

For the quickest connection to a train, you best change at Capelse Brug Station to the other branch of the Calandline. Get off at Alexander station and there you can get trains to Rotterdam, Utrecht, Nijmegen and Amsterdam.
