Canisius College


 

Canisius, is a private College in the North-Central section of Buffalo, New York. It was founded in 1870 by the Jesuits. It was named for St. Peter Canisius, one of the original members of the Jesuits. As of 2004, it has 3,500 undergraduates and more than 1,500 graduate students. The school is one of 28 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
