Caddy (other usage)

  • In the game, duplicate bridge, the caddy collects score slips after each round and/or moves boards (which contain the playing cards) between tables. He or she also assists the director with the setup before the game and the cleanup afterward.
  • In older computer hardware, the caddy was a plastic sheath that housed a CD-ROM. This sheath was then inserted into the CD-ROM drive.
  • Caddy is an affectionate nickname for a Cadillac automobile.
