C-pop
C-pop is an abbreviation for Chinese pop. The term refers to Chinese popular music. Most Chinese pop comes from Hong Kong and Taiwan. Consequently, the lyrics of some Chinese pop is in Cantonese or Taiwanese, although most Chinese pop is in Mandarin Chinese because of the larger audience to which it reaches (see also Mandopop). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
