Burlap


 
 

Burlap is a densely woven fabric, usually made of jute and allied vegetable fibers. Because it is durable, burlap is often used to make packaging, such as sacks and bags to ship goods like coffee beans. Due to its coarse texture, however, it is rarely used for apparel.
