Bukittinggi
Bukittinggi (Indonesian for "high hill") is one of the larger cities in West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is situated in the Minangkabau highlands and is a 3 hour drive away from the West Sumatran capital city Padang. It is also called a tourism city, with a number of attractions such as a Japanese Bunker, General De Cock Castle (Benteng (Fort) de Kock) and the Jam Gadang (Big Clock). Bukittinggi has a lively market (pasar).
