Bryan Greenberg

Bryan Greenberg (born 1978) is an American actor, best known for his character, Jake Jagielski, on the WB Network TV show One Tree Hill. On the show he plays a single father of baby girl, Jenny. Jenny's mother, Nikki, comes back to Tree Hill to stir up some trouble. Not only for Jake and Jenny, but for Jake's girlfriend, Peyton (played by Hilarie Burton). The second season of the show ended with Jake skipping town to track down Nikki, who had taken Jenny.

Bryan was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Jewish parents who were both psychiatrists. He moved with his family to St. Louis, Missouri when he was twelve years old. The acting bug bit Greenberg when he was young, and he moved to New York City after high school. After enrolling at New York University, going for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, Bryan landed roles in many theatre companies. He even got the role of Romeo in NYU's performance of Romeo and Juliet. His career took a turn for the best when he was offered a small role on the television show Law & Order. Soon after his appearance, Bryan was assigned an agent and one year later made his first big screen debut in A Civil Action: a movie starring John Travolta.

A couple years after later, after landing small roles on the TV shows (Boston Public, The Sopranos, Third Watch, etc...) Greenberg got another big break. He was cast to play Matty Matthews, a high school guy just trying to pass the S.A.T, in the movie The Perfect Score. During his role on One Tree Hill, he began shooting another television show for HBO called Unscripted.

On October 28, 2005 Bryan will star in his first leading role on the big screen in the movie Prime. He plays the role of David Bloomberg, a young artist that falls in love with one of his Mother's patients. Among many things, Bryan is also a musician. He has performed two songs on One Tree Hill. His talent also landed him a place on the One Tree Hill Tour with several other musicians and actors from the series.
