Brunswick, Georgia
Brunswick is a city located in Glynn County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 15,600. The city is the county seat of Glynn County{{GR|6}} and is a port city. The city was laid out by James Oglethorpe in 1771. It was once called the shrimp capital of the world, due to the tasty wild shrimp harvested in the waters nearby.
