Brown Brothers Harriman
Brown Brothers Harriman & Company is an American investment firm, the oldest and largest partnership bank in the country. It was founded in 1810 by the sons of Ulster linen trader Alexander Brown. It took its present name in 1931, after a merger with Harriman Brothers and Company, another Wall Street firm.
