Broken Bracelet (2000) was Michelle Branch's first album, and was released on an independent record label, Twin Dragon Records.

The album consisted of 11 tracks, four of which ("If Only She Knew," "Sweet Misery," "I'd Rather Be In Love," and "Goodbye To You") were later re-recorded for inclusion on her Maverick Records release The Spirit Room (2001). All tracks were written by Michelle and longtime friend Jennifer Hagio, with the exception of, "Stewart's Coat," originally by Rickie Lee Jones.
