Brixworth
Brixworth is a large village and civil parish in the Daventry district of the county of Northamptonshire in England. In 2001 it had a population of 5,162.

The village is located around 5 miles (8km) north of Northampton next to the A508 road (it is now by-passed). Just east of the village is the large Pitsford Reservoir, and to the east is the Brampton Valley Way, and the Northampton & Lamport Railway. The village contains one of the oldest Saxon churches in the country (founded 610AD).

The area around Brixworth once had a large ironstone quarrying industry, and several industrial railways existed in the area to serve it.
