Brinker International Restaurant Chain (NYSE: EAT) is the parent company of Chili's and several other restaurant chains. The company is based in Dallas, Texas. It describes itself as "the premier casual dining restaurant company in the world" but according to Hoovers (see link below) they are "the #2 casual-dining restaurant operator (behind Darden)". It was founded in 1975 and now has over 1,500 restaurants worldwide with 100,000 employees and system-wide sales approaching $4 billion annually. It is the largest employer in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex
