Even after a very consistent season in 2002, he was not playing full time in 2003 and in2004 with the Rangers. However, in 2005 he has been playing full-time for the Braves. However, he has been plagued recently with left knee inflammation. In addition, his baseball future with the Braves can be characterized as uncertain as the Braves rookies have been playing exceptionally well, notably Jeff Francoeur, who plays right field.
