Brian Dawkins is an American Football player who currently plays Free Safety for the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. Dawkins attended Clemson, starting as strong safety for three years. He is widely considered to be one of the best safeties in the league. Selected four times to play in the Pro bowl, Dawkins is infamous for his bone-crushing hits on opposing players, most notably Michael Vick and Alge Crumpler. On April 28, 2003, Dawkins was awarded with a seven-year contract from the Philadelphia Eagles (http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com).
