Brentwood School (Brentwood, England)


 

Brentwood School is an independent (private) school in Brentwood in the English county of Essex. It was founded by Antony Browne in 1568 on the site where William Hunter was burnt to death for refusing to accept the transubstantiation of bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

The school is separated into three sections Senior School (ages 11-18), Preparatory School (ages 7-11) and Pre-Preparatory School (ages 3-7). Each has their own buildings and headmaster/mistress.
