Brearley School
Brearley School is an all-girls private school, founded in 1884 by Samuel Brearley. It has moved twice during its history and is currently located in a 12-story building on East 83rd street, Manhattan, New York City, overlooking the East River.
Alumnae
- Elizabeth Fishel, journalist and writer, in 2000 published a book profiling 10 of her Brearley classmates from the class of '68, Reunion: The Girls We Used to Be, the Women We Became.
- Virginia Kneeland Frantz, pathologist, pioneer in the study of pancreatic tumors
- Téa Leoni, actress
- Abby Rockefeller Mauzé (1903-76), philanthropist, daughter of John D. Rockefeller Jr.
- Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, author, daughter of John F. Kennedy
