Bread Loaf Writers' Conference


 

The Bread Loaf Writers' Conference is the oldest writer's conference in the United States. It was founded in 1926, and held every summer at Bread Loaf, a historic inn east of Middlebury, Vermont, sponsored by Middlebury College.
