Braska

In Final Fantasy X, High Summoner Braska is the father to Yuna, the main female protagonist of the game.

With an entourage of his loyal guardian Auron and Jecht, a drunkard from the mythical city of Zanarkand, Braska undertook a pilgrimage to conquer Sin, the beast that has enslaved the world of Spira for a millennium. While successfully destroying Sin and quelling Yu Yevon's wrath for just under a decade, Braska died in the process while the Fayth Jecht became was taken over by Yu Yevon.

Braska had been dubbed 'fallen' by the Yevon clergy, on account of his treachery in marrying a heathen Al Bhed. Cid, leader of the Al Bhed, was also unimpressed with his sister’s actions in marrying Braska and became distant. But when Yuna was born, Cid welcomed her back to the tribe with open arms. However, the ship carrying her to liaise with Cid was crushed by Sin. The traumatic event led Braska down the summoner’s path. Leaving a seven-year-old Yuna in the care of the temple, Braska left with his guardians to face his destiny.
