Brandon Cruz

Brandon Edwin Cruz (born May 28, 1962 in Bakersfield, California) was a child actor and is a musician. At eight years old, he co-starred with Bill Bixby in the television show version of The Courtship of Eddie's Father in the early 1970s.

In the 1980s, he fronted a hardcore punk band from Oxnard, California called Dr. Know. He later joined post-Jello Biafra Dead Kennedys as vocalist. He quit the Dead Kennedys in 2003, reportedly because guitarist Raymond Pepperell Jr. did not want to make any changes to the set list or create new material. Cruz then rejoined Dr. Know.
