Boy Scout Vespers
The Boy Scout Vespers is a traditional song of the Boy Scouts. It is usually — like other vespers — sung at the conclusion of the day or service, especially at the end of a campfire service. The first verse below is universal, but the second is at times omitted. The song occasionally ends with the spoken blessing, "May the great Scoutmaster of all scouts watch over us until we meet again," or words to such effect.
