Bourges
Bourges (pop. 76,000) is a city in central France. It is the préfecture (capital) of the département of Cher, and was also the capital of the former province of Berry.
Sights
Its Gothic cathedral (built 1195–1255) was added to the list of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1992.
