Boston Breakers

The Boston Breakers is a professional soccer team that played in the Women's United Soccer Association. The team played at Nickerson Field on the campus of Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. The team was named in honor of a USFL team of the same name. The team began play in 2001. The league announced on September 15, 2003 it was suspending operations.
