Bornem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Bornem proper, Hingene, Mariekerke and Weert. On January 1 2005 Bornem had a total population of 19,939. The total area is 45.76 km² which gives a population density of 435.75 inhabitants per km².
