The lyrics depict a confident woman taunting a man that he is not ready because her body is too "bootylicious" (meaning "shapely, voluptuous, especially with reference to the buttocks"). The word "bootylicious" is a portmanteau of "booty" (female buttocks) and "delicious". The first recorded use is by Snoop Dogg in 1992: "Your bark was loud, but your bite wasn't vicious and them rhymes you were kickin were quite bootylicious". It has recently been added to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.
