Boone, Iowa
Boone is a city located in Boone County, Iowa. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 12,803. It is the county seat of Boone County{{GR|6}}. Boone has a long railroad history and is home of the tourist Boone and Scenic Valley railroad. Boone is also headquarters of the Iowa High School Athletic Association.
