Boogie Boy

Boogie Boy is a 1997 movie featuring Traci Lords as Shonda. It was written and directed by Craig Hamann and produced by Braddon Mendelson. It also stars Mark Dacascos, Emily Lloyd, Jaimz Woolvett, Frederic Forrest and Joan Jett.

The plot involves an ex-con, Jesse Page (Mark Dacascos) who tries to go straight, but becomes involved in the criminal world again when he backs up his ex-cellmate, Larry (Jaimz Woolvett), on a drug deal gone sour. With the drug dealers on his trail, Jesse has three days to reach Detroit where a new, clean, legitimate life awaits him. Along the way he must ask and answer a lot of questions for himself: What is the meaning of friendship? How far should loyalty go?
