Bonnie Hunt

Bonnie Lynn Hunt (born September 22, 1961) is an American actress, comedian, writer, and television producer.

Hunt was born in Chicago, Illinois to Bob and Alice Hunt, the sixth of seven children. The Irish-American Hunt was educated in Catholic school and attended Notre Dame High School for Girls. Early in her career, Hunt worked as a cancer nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. In the mid 1980s, Hunt cofounded "An Impulsive Thing", a three woman improvisational comedy troupe, with Holly Wortell and Joan Cusack. Hunt also performed as a member of Chicago's world-famous The Second City. She is married to investment banker John Murphy.
