Bonnie Franklin
Bonnie Franklin (born January 6, 1944 in Santa Monica, California) is an American actress of Jewish descent.

Franklin is best known for her portrayal of the divorced mother Ann Romano on the long-running television situation comedy (or, since so many of its episodes dealt with serious topics, some have called it a "dramedy") One Day at a Time (1975-1984).

Bonnie Franklin has also been a guest star on a number of other television series and directed several episodes of the 1980s sitcom Charles in Charge. Additionally, she has starred in stage plays both on and off Broadway, winning a Theatre World Award plus a Tony Award nomination in 1970 for "Best Featured Actress in a Musical" for her performance in Applause.
