Bob Taylor (cricketer)
Robert William ("Bob") Taylor (born July 17, 1941, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England) was a cricketer who played for Derbyshire and England.

He made his Test debut in 1971. But after this one appearance, he was discarded in favour of Alan Knott who was a better batsman. It was only when Knott joined the World Series Cricket in 1977 that Taylor appeared in more Tests. He then became England's regular wicket-keeper and played in 57 Test matches in total. He also played in 27 One-day Internationals.

He was selected as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1977.
