Wes Scantlin (lead singer), is seen playing and talking with his son Jordan Scantlin. The song was primarily written about his son and how he misses him.

"Blurry" has been featured as one of the main songs in the Namco Flight-arcade shooting video game, , it also became the tribute song of the 2004 Tsunami, which killed about 150,00-270,000 people in Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, and Malaysia, and many others. Sound bytes were added from news coverage from the Tsunami.
