Blundell's School
Blundell's School is a British public school, located in Tiverton in the county of Devon. It was founded by Peter Blundell in 1604, and relocated to its present location on the outskirts of town in 1882. The Old Blundell's School is now in the care of the National Trust, and its forecourt is usually open to visitors. One ex-Blundell's boy was the writer R. D. Blackmore — in Lorna Doone he used the Blundell's triangular lawn as the stage for a fight between John Ridd and Robin Snell.
