Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania
Bloomsburg is a town located in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Wilkes Barre. It is the only municipality incorporated as a "town" in Pennsylvania. In 1900, the population of Bloomsburg stood at 6,170; in 1910, 7,413; and in 1940, 9,799. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 12,375. It is the county seat of Columbia County{{GR|6}}. The town is home to the Bloomsburg Fair.
