Blood on the Dance Floor was a hit record for singer Michael Jackson in 1997. The song talked about how a girl named Susie got someone's "number" after a late-night rendezvous. While a modest hit in America reaching as high as #42 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #19 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, it became another #1 hit for Jackson in the UK.
