Black Dog Productions
Black Dog Productions (or The Black Dog) were a musical trio that produced Spanners, a high point of the intelligent dance music genre. They also released music under the name Balil. Two members, Andy Turner and Ed Handley, went on to record as Plaid. The remaining member, Ken Downie, continues to record as The Black Dog with Martin and Richard Dust. His last endeavour Unsavoury Products was produced with poet Black Sifichi. The album is an homage to William S. Burroughs.
