Bix Brent
Bix Brent (stage name of Ruth Anne Guise, born December 2, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania) was a founding member of The Heathertones who sang on many recordings in the early 50s. After graduating from Smith College in 1945 with a degree in music, she was awarded a piano/composition scholarship at Juilliard. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
