Birds Australia
Birds Australia was previously known as the Royal Australasian Ornithologists Union until a change of name in 1996. It was founded in 1901 to promote the study and conservation of the native bird species of Australia, making it the oldest national birding association of that country. It has joined the BirdLife International partnership of bird and habitat conservations groups.
