Between The Buried And Me

Between The Buried And Me is a musical quintet from Raleigh, North Carolina with a pronounced influence from death metal and smaller influences from metalcore, grindcore, progressive metal, soft rock, and jazz. Their name is derived from a section of lyrics in a Counting Crows song entitled, "Ghost Train." The lyrics are as follows: "Took the cannon ball down to the ocean/across the desert from the sea to shining sea/I rode a ladder that climbed across the nation/50 million feet of earth between the buried and me."
