Betty Astell

Betty Astell (May 23, 1912 – July 26, 2005) was a British actress.

She was married to the entertainer Cyril Fletcher for more than 60 years.

She appeared with him in the television series, The Cyril Fletcher Show, and was one of the first people to appear on television when she appeared on John Logie Baird's experimental television on the BBC's 30 line shows.

Astell died in a hospital near her home in Guernsey, seven months after the death of Fletcher.
