Berwickshire
Berwickshire (Siorrachd Bhearaig in Gaelic) is a traditional county and Lieutenancy area of Scotland, on the border with England. The area is administratively part of the Scottish Borders (see Subdivisions of Scotland).

Its traditional county town, after which it is named, had been Berwick-upon-Tweed but that is now considered to be part of the English county of Northumberland. The county was sometimes unofficially called Dunsshire because of this anomaly.
