Berniece Baker Miracle

Berniece Baker Miracle (born Berniece Inez Gladys Baker July 30, 1919 in Venice, California) is the half-sister of iconic film actress Marilyn Monroe. She married Paris Miracle on October 7, 1938, and gave birth to their only child, Mona Rae, on July 18, 1939.

She did not know about her soon-to-be-famous half-sister until after she married. They met for the first time in 1944. She and her daughter wrote a book, My Sister Marilyn (1994).
