Berlin, New Hampshire
Berlin is a city located on the Androscoggin River in north-eastern Coos County, New Hampshire. First settled in 1781-1782, Berlin was incorporated in 1829. Locals have pronounced the name as "BURR-lun" since the United States' entry into World War I. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 10,331. It is home to several large pulp and paper mills, and has been a center of forest industries since the 1800s.
Geography
Berlin is located at 44°28'43" North, 71°11'29" West (44.478692, -71.191360){{GR|1}}. The south edge is bordered by Randolph and Gorham.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 161.8 km² (62.5 mi²). 159.9 km² (61.7 mi²) of it is land and 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.17% water. The number of people living here has most likely decreased however, with the paper mill in turmoil.
