Bent Lorentzen (composer)
Bent Lorentzen (born February 11 1935) is a Danish composer. He studied musicology at Aarhus University and then at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. He is particularly noted for his operatic compositions, which are considered very popular in Denmark and Germany. He has also written works for orchestra, chamber music, organ and choir.
