Benjamin Glazer
Benjamin Glazer (May 7, 1887 - March 18, 1956) is an Academy Award-winning writer, producer, foley artist, and director of American films from the 1920s through the 1950s. He is best known for his Oscar-winning work on 1927's Seventh Heaven and 1941's Arise, My Love. He was also one of the founding members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

He was born in Belfast, Ireland. After moving to the United States, he studied at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and past the bar exam to become a lawyer in 1906. He later married actress Sharon Lynn. He died in 1956 of circulatory failure.
