Bend of the River
Bend of the River is a 1952 American western movie directed by Anthony Mann and starring James Stewart in their second collaboration.
Plot
Two former outlaws, Glyn McLyntock (James Stewart) and his friend Cold (Arthur Kennedy) lead a wagon-train from Missouri to the Oregon territory. After establishing a settlement the group faces a harsh territory with diminishing supplies. McLyntock and Cole hear of a shipment of food being held by corrupt officials in Portland. They capture the goods, but McLyntock begins to question if he can trust Cole.
