Ben Thatcher
Benjamin Thatcher (born November 30, 1975 in Swindon) is a Welsh footballer. He currently plays for Manchester City.

Thatcher commenced his career at Millwall before being signed for Wimbledon F.C. (now Milton Keynes Dons) in 1996, quickly establishing himself at a time when the club's fortunes were much improved on when compared to today.

However, due to an injury he administered to Nicky Summerbee, many of his critics said he wasn't ready for international duty. After Wimbledon's relegation from the league in the 1999/2000 season, he moved to Tottenham Hotspur. Never managing to feature on a regular basis within the squad, he moved to Leicester City, immediately proceeding to lambaste the then-Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle's style of management. Once again Thatcher found himself in the arms of a relegated club, and moved to Manchester City.
